Hello From New Mexico!

Wowww it has been a busy week! I have had some really amazing experiences so far here in Silver City, New Mexico! So my first lesson I EVER taught, was with audrie... She has been taking lessons for a couple months and wants to get baptized once she finishes the lessons. During the lesson we were talking about prayer. We read Moronis promise at the end of the book of mormon, and she started crying and sad she knew it was true more than ever! The spirit was soooo strong! She is getting baptized on March 9th and is just so happy. I am so excited for her. She is golden! When we taught word of wisdom a couple days later, she just decided right away that she would stop drinking coffee! She is so ready and excited and has told us some cool stories about standing up for her faith even though her husband is against our church.  My absolute favorite person is brother quinn! He moved here on a promoting (basically just to get baptized) and he is soooo close to being ready. His wife is a memb...

Tucson!

Made it to Tucson! So far so good! I love my mission president and his wife so much. Not much time to email today but just wanted to say hi real quick :)

Best News Ever!!

The Friday before Hayley flew out to Arizona, the church announced that missionaries would be able to call home every Monday, family birthdays, Father’s Day, other significant holidays, etc.  It was truly a missionary miracle!!!

Today is V-Day P-day! The girls in my zone has a "galentines" party this morning so it's been fun :) This week has been busy but good! And we have had just about every weather possible! Yesterday we got to host the incoming missionaries, so we got to be the one to pick them up at their car, bring their luggage to their rooms and direct them to class. It was really fun but holy moly they all had three heavy suitcases and lived on the third or fourth floor so I was tired by the end. This week has also had ups and downs but being able to teach people in TRC has been a great experience. I invited someone to be baptized and she said yes! So that was really exciting! One of my favorite moments in class this week is when we were talking about faith. Our teacher asked us to describe "faith" in our own words. Elder Womack described is as faith being like love. It's something that you can feel but not see. It's something you need to feel to understand. He started ...
