Hellllooooo! What a week it's been!  Today we got to go to the Gila Valley temple! Since we are two hours away we had to make today our Pday instead of yesterday, and take Pday to go. It was soooo nice though, I loved being there :) We had exchanges with the Hermanas this week! My companion was Hemana Luna (she is soooo sweet!) and I got be Hermana Chadwick for the day! We were down in Deming New Mexico and it was way different. There was only one lesson that was 100% in Spanish, and even though I couldn't say much, I actually understood quite a bit so that was cool! We did a lottttt of service this week too. We are still scooping horse poop every week... but this week a horse ran out of the gate while we were heading in and got into the other horse area and started running all over the place and all the horses went completely nuts and it got prettty interesting. We've also been helping people with their gardens, cleaning the church and people houses, working at food pantri...

Audrie got baptized!! It was such a happy day! The adversary sure worked on her the week leading up to it but she was able to fall back on the testimony she's built and now she is happier than ever! It was such a special experience and the spirit was incredibly strong! She texted us this morning saying when she looked in the mirror she felt like she was glowing! And, after her baptism she said "I was so lonely and prayed for a friend, and God sent me the sister missionaries"  it makes me so happy to see her so happy! We had zone confrence this week which was really fun! I got to see sister wood! And spend the day in Arizona! It was really nice! I learned a lot and met a lot of new friends! I am doing super well and I just love learning and teaching every day! I love the book of mormon so much and my testimony grows stronger every day! I have a countdown on my phone till general confrence! 19 days! I'm super excited and we are inviting people to start thinking about a ...

It's been kind of a long week! I got sick on Tuesday and I'm just getting better... but I am glad I didn't get the flu because there is a crazy outbreak here (we had to wear masks when we visited some people at a care facility)  We are the only zone of the mission with day light savings because every one else is in Arizona! So that's kinda weird when we are trying to communicate with other missionaries  This week we did some service and walked dogs at the humane society... and today we got to pet wolves at a wolf sanctuary! It was so cool! There were tons and tons of them and they were super sweet. But! I've been doing well, definitely been a little up and down this week... but I just loveeee reading the book of mormon so much and my testimony grows stronger each day. Its a dang good book :) Getting super excited for Audries baptism on Saturday! She is so awesome!  I also asked someone to get baptized this week! It's been another awesome week! There's so much work to do here so we are staying nice and busy! I had my first official New Mexico enchilada. It's kind of a big deal here-- They are "stacked," so instead of rolling them, there's just layers of corn tortillas with the stuff in between... and green chili is super important here. You can get it on anything. And people take pride in their green chili. They also serve their enchiladas with an over easy fried egg on top. It was really good. So now I'm an official new mexican We've had some super cool things happen this week! My favorite experience was when we were trying to find a house that didn't have a super specific address, so we were paying close attention and we noticed a girl crying on the side of the road.
