PG Girls Get Free Cereal!!

We had another great week!! Lots of great stories!! 


We had a super cool miracle this week! theres like a million details that make it super cool but I'll just make it super simple... So long story short, we knocked on a door RIGHT as someone was starting to talk about the book of mormon to his friend that lived in that house! He had driven all the way from San Deigo on a prompting to talk to that friend about the church! He had totally forgotten the book of mormon he had for her, and he almost turned around, but knew he needed to go! And right as he started speaking about the book of mormon, we showed up!  So we were able to give her a copy, explain the book of mormon, answer some questions she had, and she is so prepared and ready for us to teach her!!! Soooo cool!!


And there were tooons of other cool little things! Like someone we have been wanting to get in contact with showed up at the same service project with us on Saturday! I was so happy and he said he wants us to come over in a couple weeks when his wife gets home from a trip!! 


It was seriously such a great week! I love this area so much! The people here are the best! It was super funny at dinner last night bc the mom asked what she could do for us, and we were all just chatting and stuff... and the 13 yo boy was so concentrated the whole time, then said "I think we need to help you by giving you lucky charms... those are expensive." Then he went and grabbed us a box from the pantry. So we totally got some free cereal! So I guess I could call this week a win :)

p.p.s- I hit 9 months on wednesday. hoooollllyyyy moly cant beleive I'm half way!! I love this place so much

Tucson, Moms, And Cheese Week

Hello friends! I've had an amazing week!! (besides the dead cockroach in my shoe this morning) The highlight was being able to go to Tucson for my graduation from training!  I got to see allllll my cute friends and have a really good meeting:) I also had a fun dinner with a member in sister curtis's first area. I'm officially not a greenie anymore! Hard to beleive I've been in the field for 12 weeks already!  We also got our transfer cheese! And I found out why it's called transfer cheese! The word for "gossip" in spanish is "chisme" which sounds a lot like cheese so I guess that's where they got it.... but anyways, me and sister curtis are staying!!! So happy to have another transfer with her... I also had a nice call with my cute fam bam yesterday!.. and I think the best part was knowing that I wouldn't have to wait till Christmas to talk to them again haha  Sister curtis and I are pretty lucky to have some good "moms" out her...

I Got To Pet Wolves Today!!

It's been kind of a long week! I got sick on Tuesday and I'm just getting better... but I am glad I didn't get the flu because there is a crazy outbreak here (we had to wear masks when we visited some people at a care facility)  We are the only zone of the mission with day light savings because every one else is in Arizona! So that's kinda weird when we are trying to communicate with other missionaries  This week we did some service and walked dogs at the humane society... and today we got to pet wolves at a wolf sanctuary! It was so cool! There were tons and tons of them and they were super sweet. But! I've been doing well, definitely been a little up and down this week... but I just loveeee reading the book of mormon so much and my testimony grows stronger each day. Its a dang good book :) Getting super excited for Audries baptism on Saturday! She is so awesome!  I also asked someone to get baptized this week! I definitely wasnt planning on asking when we went ove...

Angels

hello!  it's been another great week in catalina!! something fun that happened this week is that we had our ward halloween trunk or treat! sister daly & I dressed up as angels and decorated our trunk and handed out smarties! it was so fun! we also met a lot of cool people this week! it was cool because one time we street contacted someone who said he wasnt interested, but as we walked back to our car, he stopped us asking for our number so that he could talk to his wife about having us over! it was so cool! there are so many little miracles every day!  so yeah! things are going well and we are happy happy happy! the only bad thing was my gnarly toe infection hahaha... But! I have been feeling extra grateful this week to be a missionary!
