Oops!

Hey hey hey! We had another great week!! 


This weekend we kicked off our light the world goals! We are getting an early start!! As missionaries, we were challenged to visit every single member in our area by Christmas and tract each of their neighbors...... so its definitely going to be a challenge since our area has over 500 member households and is almost a 2 hour drive across, and we have like 50 days till Christmas but we will do the best we can! haha


But! We got started yesterday and it was actually so much fun! We just stopped at some members, read a scripture, invited them to pray for us to find during the holiday season, said a prayer, then we got knocking! And we were able to find 2 new people to teach on that street! And we went back and told those families that their prayers worked and they were so excited! And now they are praying for those new people as well! 


So its gonna be a fun & busy season!! We are teaching a lot right now which is so fun! And we have a baptism coming up next weekend! It's been so fun to see this area pick up so much in such a short amount of time! 


ALSO! We got to go to the temple for halloween!!!!!! The last 3 sessions in both temples of our mission were completely booked! They even had to pull in some folding chairs to fit us in! It was so so fun! It was my first time in the Tucson temple && it is amazing!! Doing work for the dead on halloween lol...

Tucson, Moms, And Cheese Week

Hello friends! I've had an amazing week!! (besides the dead cockroach in my shoe this morning) The highlight was being able to go to Tucson for my graduation from training!  I got to see allllll my cute friends and have a really good meeting:) I also had a fun dinner with a member in sister curtis's first area. I'm officially not a greenie anymore! Hard to beleive I've been in the field for 12 weeks already!  We also got our transfer cheese! And I found out why it's called transfer cheese! The word for "gossip" in spanish is "chisme" which sounds a lot like cheese so I guess that's where they got it.... but anyways, me and sister curtis are staying!!! So happy to have another transfer with her... I also had a nice call with my cute fam bam yesterday!.. and I think the best part was knowing that I wouldn't have to wait till Christmas to talk to them again haha  Sister curtis and I are pretty lucky to have some good "moms" out her...

I Got To Pet Wolves Today!!

It's been kind of a long week! I got sick on Tuesday and I'm just getting better... but I am glad I didn't get the flu because there is a crazy outbreak here (we had to wear masks when we visited some people at a care facility)  We are the only zone of the mission with day light savings because every one else is in Arizona! So that's kinda weird when we are trying to communicate with other missionaries  This week we did some service and walked dogs at the humane society... and today we got to pet wolves at a wolf sanctuary! It was so cool! There were tons and tons of them and they were super sweet. But! I've been doing well, definitely been a little up and down this week... but I just loveeee reading the book of mormon so much and my testimony grows stronger each day. Its a dang good book :) Getting super excited for Audries baptism on Saturday! She is so awesome!  I also asked someone to get baptized this week! I definitely wasnt planning on asking when we went ove...

hello!  it's been another great week in catalina!! something fun that happened this week is that we had our ward halloween trunk or treat! sister daly & I dressed up as angels and decorated our trunk and handed out smarties! it was so fun! we also met a lot of cool people this week! it was cool because one time we street contacted someone who said he wasnt interested, but as we walked back to our car, he stopped us asking for our number so that he could talk to his wife about having us over! it was so cool! there are so many little miracles every day!  so yeah! things are going well and we are happy happy happy! the only bad thing was my gnarly toe infection hahaha... But! I have been feeling extra grateful this week to be a missionary!
