Cheese

Boy have we got some cheeeese! For those who are new or have forgotten... since the spanish word for "gossip" is "chisme", our whole mission refers to any news about transfers as "cheese"....
So anyways. Our cheese is that we are BOTH LEAVING!!! our area will be whitewashed and we will both be going to west zone best zone!!!!!! We are pretty stoked! Especially since we will be able to see each other every week at service!!!


Anyways, we have lots of other exciting news! 
Shelly (the lady we found last week) is on bap date!!! We are so so stoked for her! She is SO prepared!!!! She is getting baptized on Jan 4th, and since sis daly and I will be close, we will be able to go to her baptism! I am sooo excited! 


Also we went to Mammoth AZ this week. Its a reallllll sketch part of our area. I've only been there 3 times in my 4.5 months here haha. It was lots of fun!


Also sister daly graduated training! I cant beleive shes been out for 3 months now! She's the best lil baby I ever could have asked for!! 


So yeah! Lots of exciting stuff! We are super busy and stressed with packing and getting everything ready for the elders to take over. But it will be good! I think they will do good there! This area has come sooo far in such a short amount of time! It's been so cool to see :)

Tucson, Moms, And Cheese Week

Hello friends! I've had an amazing week!! (besides the dead cockroach in my shoe this morning) The highlight was being able to go to Tucson for my graduation from training!  I got to see allllll my cute friends and have a really good meeting:) I also had a fun dinner with a member in sister curtis's first area. I'm officially not a greenie anymore! Hard to beleive I've been in the field for 12 weeks already!  We also got our transfer cheese! And I found out why it's called transfer cheese! So happy to have another transfer with her... I also had a nice call with my cute fam bam yesterday!.. and I think the best part was knowing that I wouldn't have to wait till Christmas to talk to them again haha  Sister curtis and I are pretty lucky to have some good "moms" out her...

I Got To Pet Wolves Today!!

It's been kind of a long week! I got sick on Tuesday and I'm just getting better... but I am glad I didn't get the flu because there is a crazy outbreak here (we had to wear masks when we visited some people at a care facility)  We are the only zone of the mission with day light savings because every one else is in Arizona! So that's kinda weird when we are trying to communicate with other missionaries  This week we did some service and walked dogs at the humane society... and today we got to pet wolves at a wolf sanctuary! It was so cool! There were tons and tons of them and they were super sweet. But! I've been doing well, definitely been a little up and down this week... but I just loveeee reading the book of mormon so much and my testimony grows stronger each day. Its a dang good book :) Getting super excited for Audries baptism on Saturday! She is so awesome!  I also asked someone to get baptized this week! I definitely wasnt planning on asking when we went ove...

Angels

hello!  it's been another great week in catalina!! something fun that happened this week is that we had our ward halloween trunk or treat! sister daly & I dressed up as angels and decorated our trunk and handed out smarties! it was so fun! we also met a lot of cool people this week! it was cool because one time we street contacted someone who said he wasnt interested, but as we walked back to our car, he stopped us asking for our number so that he could talk to his wife about having us over! it was so cool! there are so many little miracles every day!  so yeah! things are going well and we are happy happy happy! the only bad thing was my gnarly toe infection hahaha... But! I have been feeling extra grateful this week to be a missionary!
