Merry Christmas!¡!

merry christmas!!! I can honestly say I've never experienced a 63 degree christmas before, but honestly it's kind of nice! no windshield scraping! 


But anyways! It has been an incredible week! It has been so fun and special being a missionary at this time! I cant even explain how much easier it has been to find people to teach! Everyones hearts are so open to learn more about christ. It's the best! 


I want to share something that stood out to me while watching the christ child video this week. As a missionary, I've watched that video like 600 times and was honestly starting to get a little tired of it haha... but this last time i watched it, the part at the end really hit me. The wise men bow down to the young jesus and are overcome with gratitude. It made me think of how I would feel to see the savior. I am so extremely for the person that I have become because of Him

We also had the best best week. We had our Christmas zone conf and we had a talent show!! My group did a tongan song and dance. We spent all week practicing in the mornings for exercise time haha. Elder Otuafi taught it to us and it was soooo awesome. We also got to watch the Christmas carol!! I honestly dont miss movies though, I almost fell asleep hehe

It's a great reminder of all that is possible becuase of the savior:)) ALL can be overcome through him!

Tucson, Moms, And Cheese Week

Hello friends! I've had an amazing week!! (besides the dead cockroach in my shoe this morning) The highlight was being able to go to Tucson for my graduation from training!  I got to see allllll my cute friends and have a really good meeting:) I also had a fun dinner with a member in sister curtis's first area. I'm officially not a greenie anymore! Hard to beleive I've been in the field for 12 weeks already!  We also got our transfer cheese! And I found out why it's called transfer cheese! The word for "gossip" in spanish is "chisme" which sounds a lot like cheese so I guess that's where they got it.... but anyways, me and sister curtis are staying!!! So happy to have another transfer with her... I also had a nice call with my cute fam bam yesterday!.. and I think the best part was knowing that I wouldn't have to wait till Christmas to talk to them again haha  Sister curtis and I are pretty lucky to have some good "moms" out her...

I Got To Pet Wolves Today!!

It's been kind of a long week! I got sick on Tuesday and I'm just getting better... but I am glad I didn't get the flu because there is a crazy outbreak here (we had to wear masks when we visited some people at a care facility)  We are the only zone of the mission with day light savings because every one else is in Arizona! So that's kinda weird when we are trying to communicate with other missionaries  This week we did some service and walked dogs at the humane society... and today we got to pet wolves at a wolf sanctuary! It was so cool! There were tons and tons of them and they were super sweet. But! I've been doing well, definitely been a little up and down this week... but I just loveeee reading the book of mormon so much and my testimony grows stronger each day. Its a dang good book :) Getting super excited for Audries baptism on Saturday! She is so awesome!  I also asked someone to get baptized this week! I definitely wasnt planning on asking when we went ove...

Angels

hello!  it's been another great week in catalina!! something fun that happened this week is that we had our ward halloween trunk or treat! sister daly & I dressed up as angels and decorated our trunk and handed out smarties! it was so fun! we also met a lot of cool people this week! it was cool because one time we street contacted someone who said he wasnt interested, but as we walked back to our car, he stopped us asking for our number so that he could talk to his wife about having us over! it was so cool! there are so many little miracles every day!  so yeah! things are going well and we are happy happy happy! the only bad thing was my gnarly toe infection hahaha... But! I have been feeling extra grateful this week to be a missionary!
