1 YEAR

Hey guys! It's me again!
I hit my year mark last week!!!!! 
A BIG yeehaw for that!!!
Mom hooked me up real good with a nice package of 1 yo birthday gifts, a new skirt, and some chick-fil-a gift cards, shes the best! She even ordered us a pizza!


Anyways! I'm like super short on time but I have to tell one of my crazy miracles from this week! 
This all happened in 30 minutes!! 
So we knocked on someone's door and she was literally about to order a book of mormon online! 
Then, we talked to someone else who walked outside as we walked to her door... and she said that her neighbors used to be members and she would always ask them questions about the church, and she loved the book of mormon, but her book got lost and her neighbors moved and shes been wanted to know more for so long!!! 
Then! We had to go home and change, and we were super stoked about these two people so we were giggling (like sister missionaries do)... and someone asked if we had been partying bc people are never that happy unless they are drunk.... but I told him, "no we weren't partying... we are missionaries for our church, and we were just talking about Jesus, and that just makes us really happy!!" And he was asking about our church and we were chatting about christianity... and out of no where he says "Well im glad to hear you guys are christians. Cuz theres all sorts of weird religions out there... I mean... have you guys heard of the Mormons?? They worship this guy named Joseph Smith! And we all need to be worshiping Jesus!!" lolz. So we were able to explain everything and he said we really changed his perspective! It was super cool!!


But yeah! SUPER great week for sister chadwick!!!! I am so incredibly happy and just lovin life!!!

Tucson, Moms, And Cheese Week

Hello friends! I've had an amazing week!! (besides the dead cockroach in my shoe this morning) The highlight was being able to go to Tucson for my graduation from training!  I got to see allllll my cute friends and have a really good meeting:) I also had a fun dinner with a member in sister curtis's first area. I'm officially not a greenie anymore! Hard to beleive I've been in the field for 12 weeks already!  We also got our transfer cheese! And I found out why it's called transfer cheese! The word for "gossip" in spanish is "chisme" which sounds a lot like cheese so I guess that's where they got it.... but anyways, me and sister curtis are staying!!! So happy to have another transfer with her... I also had a nice call with my cute fam bam yesterday!.. and I think the best part was knowing that I wouldn't have to wait till Christmas to talk to them again haha  Sister curtis and I are pretty lucky to have some good "moms" out her...

I Got To Pet Wolves Today!!

It's been kind of a long week! I got sick on Tuesday and I'm just getting better... but I am glad I didn't get the flu because there is a crazy outbreak here (we had to wear masks when we visited some people at a care facility)  We are the only zone of the mission with day light savings because every one else is in Arizona! So that's kinda weird when we are trying to communicate with other missionaries  This week we did some service and walked dogs at the humane society... and today we got to pet wolves at a wolf sanctuary! It was so cool! There were tons and tons of them and they were super sweet. But! I've been doing well, definitely been a little up and down this week... but I just loveeee reading the book of mormon so much and my testimony grows stronger each day. Its a dang good book :) Getting super excited for Audries baptism on Saturday! She is so awesome!  I also asked someone to get baptized this week! I definitely wasnt planning on asking when we went ove...

Angels

hello!  it's been another great week in catalina!! something fun that happened this week is that we had our ward halloween trunk or treat! sister daly & I dressed up as angels and decorated our trunk and handed out smarties! it was so fun! we also met a lot of cool people this week! it was cool because one time we street contacted someone who said he wasnt interested, but as we walked back to our car, he stopped us asking for our number so that he could talk to his wife about having us over! it was so cool! there are so many little miracles every day!  so yeah! things are going well and we are happy happy happy! the only bad thing was my gnarly toe infection hahaha... But! I have been feeling extra grateful this week to be a missionary!
