Not Going To Prison

hey sooooo story time! 
this week I went to get something from my bag and found a phone inside. after staring at it for about 10 minutes, wondering why someone might have put it in there, I finally realized that I LEGIT STOLE SOMEONES PHONE ON ACCIDENT!!!! 
so of course, I freaked out bc now I'm a convict! and I really didnt want to get sent home! and I especially didnt want to get sent to prison!! 
but yeah after texting around for a few hours I discivered that it was an 11 yo boys phone from the spanish ward that we had an activity with a couple days ago 
so the hermanas got it back safe & sound, and good news: I won't be sent to prison


okay so now its spiritual story time! last sunday night we talked to a guy who said he wasn't interested but the spirit was screaming at us that he needed to hear our message so we kept asking but he kept saying no... so we did the best we could and went back again on monday night! as you can imagine, it was weird to re-show up at someones house that told you they weren't interested the day before... BUT! he told us that he had been thinking about it all night and thinks that he should get back into christianity and wants to learn more! booyahhh!!


so yeah! I am loving loving loving it here and we keep seeing amazing miracles every day!!!

p.s. so when elder uchtdorf came a couple weeks ago, he low-key invited us to learn spanish as much as we could so I have been studying like CRAZY ever since in the small amount of free time that we have & I'm LOVING it! I'll let you guys know when I'm fluent ;)

-an elder in my district wanted to see me on an energy drink since I always have so much energy so he bought me one for service and WOW it was very exciting!

Tucson, Moms, And Cheese Week

Hello friends! I've had an amazing week!! (besides the dead cockroach in my shoe this morning) The highlight was being able to go to Tucson for my graduation from training!  I got to see allllll my cute friends and have a really good meeting:) I also had a fun dinner with a member in sister curtis's first area. I'm officially not a greenie anymore! Hard to beleive I've been in the field for 12 weeks already!  We also got our transfer cheese! And I found out why it's called transfer cheese! The word for "gossip" in spanish is "chisme" which sounds a lot like cheese so I guess that's where they got it.... but anyways, me and sister curtis are staying!!! So happy to have another transfer with her... I also had a nice call with my cute fam bam yesterday!.. and I think the best part was knowing that I wouldn't have to wait till Christmas to talk to them again haha  Sister curtis and I are pretty lucky to have some good "moms" out her...

I Got To Pet Wolves Today!!

It's been kind of a long week! I got sick on Tuesday and I'm just getting better... but I am glad I didn't get the flu because there is a crazy outbreak here (we had to wear masks when we visited some people at a care facility)  We are the only zone of the mission with day light savings because every one else is in Arizona! So that's kinda weird when we are trying to communicate with other missionaries  This week we did some service and walked dogs at the humane society... and today we got to pet wolves at a wolf sanctuary! It was so cool! There were tons and tons of them and they were super sweet. But! I've been doing well, definitely been a little up and down this week... but I just loveeee reading the book of mormon so much and my testimony grows stronger each day. Its a dang good book :) Getting super excited for Audries baptism on Saturday! She is so awesome!  I also asked someone to get baptized this week! I definitely wasnt planning on asking when we went ove...

Angels

hello!  it's been another great week in catalina!! something fun that happened this week is that we had our ward halloween trunk or treat! sister daly & I dressed up as angels and decorated our trunk and handed out smarties! it was so fun! we also met a lot of cool people this week! it was cool because one time we street contacted someone who said he wasnt interested, but as we walked back to our car, he stopped us asking for our number so that he could talk to his wife about having us over! it was so cool! there are so many little miracles every day!  so yeah! things are going well and we are happy happy happy! the only bad thing was my gnarly toe infection hahaha... But! I have been feeling extra grateful this week to be a missionary!
