Coronavirus Ain't Stoppin The Lord's Work!!

Well, things have obviously been a little weird lately, but I have been able to stay positive and I am actually really enjoying being able to share some light with others at a time when it's hard to find:)


We have actually seen so many miracles at this crazy time!
At one point, we were praying where to go and I heard the name "megan" in my head so we started walking to megan's and it was so crazy becuase on our way, we ran into a lady walking her dog, and it was someone the ward has been wantin us to get in touch with for a long time but we havent been able to! Last week she yelled through her door to go away but when we saw her walking her dog, she stopped us and we were able to have a really good conversation with her!!! It was a cool miracle!


We also tracted one single door last night and ended up having an hour long lesson with someone on his porch. He has been searching for years for answers to his questions & to find any sort of purpose in his life. It was so amazing that we found him:)


I am grateful for the peace and comfort that I have at this crazy time && I'm soooo grateful we have a prophet to lead and guide us! 


So yeah, things are going good here. We are all prepared for a two week quarantine just in case, but hopefully we can keep moving the work forward here in good ol' AZ <3

Tucson, Moms, And Cheese Week

Hello friends! I've had an amazing week!! (besides the dead cockroach in my shoe this morning) The highlight was being able to go to Tucson for my graduation from training!  I got to see allllll my cute friends and have a really good meeting:) I also had a fun dinner with a member in sister curtis's first area. I'm officially not a greenie anymore! Hard to beleive I've been in the field for 12 weeks already!  We also got our transfer cheese! And I found out why it's called transfer cheese! The word for "gossip" in spanish is "chisme" which sounds a lot like cheese so I guess that's where they got it.... but anyways, me and sister curtis are staying!!! So happy to have another transfer with her... I also had a nice call with my cute fam bam yesterday!.. and I think the best part was knowing that I wouldn't have to wait till Christmas to talk to them again haha  Sister curtis and I are pretty lucky to have some good "moms" out her...

I Got To Pet Wolves Today!!

It's been kind of a long week! I got sick on Tuesday and I'm just getting better... but I am glad I didn't get the flu because there is a crazy outbreak here (we had to wear masks when we visited some people at a care facility)  We are the only zone of the mission with day light savings because every one else is in Arizona! So that's kinda weird when we are trying to communicate with other missionaries  This week we did some service and walked dogs at the humane society... and today we got to pet wolves at a wolf sanctuary! It was so cool! There were tons and tons of them and they were super sweet. But! I've been doing well, definitely been a little up and down this week... but I just loveeee reading the book of mormon so much and my testimony grows stronger each day. Its a dang good book :) Getting super excited for Audries baptism on Saturday! She is so awesome!  I also asked someone to get baptized this week! I definitely wasnt planning on asking when we went ove...

Angels

hello!  it's been another great week in catalina!! something fun that happened this week is that we had our ward halloween trunk or treat! sister daly & I dressed up as angels and decorated our trunk and handed out smarties! it was so fun! we also met a lot of cool people this week! it was cool because one time we street contacted someone who said he wasnt interested, but as we walked back to our car, he stopped us asking for our number so that he could talk to his wife about having us over! it was so cool! there are so many little miracles every day!  so yeah! things are going well and we are happy happy happy! the only bad thing was my gnarly toe infection hahaha... But! I have been feeling extra grateful this week to be a missionary!
