Another Weekly:)

we seriously had so much fun this week! we have been able to do outdoor dinners so we had a few this week and it's been SO FUN!!! we even went up to the mountains this week for one of our dinners! felt like I was camping again:') 
and we did lots of outdoor service, we went scorpion hunting, and went on a hike this morning! 
SO basically the outdoors are what's keeping me sane haha... we are SUPER blessed to be able to go outside here:) ALSO its allllmost 100 degrees which is crazy but I literally love it so so so much! I have real az blood in me now:) 


so yeah. it really has been a good week. but, I have been struggling a little more than normal. my motivation is kinda low right now and I'm just not feeling as happy as I normally am. BUT! I think it's interesting that in come follow me this week, it talked about how the only way to get through our trails is by relying on God! mosiah 9:17 says "and God did hear our cries and did answer our prayers; and we did go forth in his might!"
I know that as we rely on Him, we can get through any trials that come our way. its definitely not always easy, but we can do it! Our savior knows us perfectly and won't give us anything we can't handle.

OH btw! our mission is getting 150 new missionaries in the next couple months! we get our first 18 tomorrow, then we will get some in every other week!! once we run out of apartments, they'll put missionaries in HOTELS!! kinda crazy!:)

Tucson, Moms, And Cheese Week

Hello friends! I've had an amazing week!! (besides the dead cockroach in my shoe this morning) The highlight was being able to go to Tucson for my graduation from training!  I got to see allllll my cute friends and have a really good meeting:) I also had a fun dinner with a member in sister curtis's first area. I'm officially not a greenie anymore! Hard to beleive I've been in the field for 12 weeks already!  We also got our transfer cheese! And I found out why it's called transfer cheese! The word for "gossip" in spanish is "chisme" which sounds a lot like cheese so I guess that's where they got it.... but anyways, me and sister curtis are staying!!! So happy to have another transfer with her... I also had a nice call with my cute fam bam yesterday!.. and I think the best part was knowing that I wouldn't have to wait till Christmas to talk to them again haha  Sister curtis and I are pretty lucky to have some good "moms" out her...

I Got To Pet Wolves Today!!

It's been kind of a long week! I got sick on Tuesday and I'm just getting better... but I am glad I didn't get the flu because there is a crazy outbreak here (we had to wear masks when we visited some people at a care facility)  We are the only zone of the mission with day light savings because every one else is in Arizona! So that's kinda weird when we are trying to communicate with other missionaries  This week we did some service and walked dogs at the humane society... and today we got to pet wolves at a wolf sanctuary! It was so cool! There were tons and tons of them and they were super sweet. But! I've been doing well, definitely been a little up and down this week... but I just loveeee reading the book of mormon so much and my testimony grows stronger each day. Its a dang good book :) Getting super excited for Audries baptism on Saturday! She is so awesome!  I also asked someone to get baptized this week! Angels

hello!  it's been another great week in catalina!! something fun that happened this week is that we had our ward halloween trunk or treat! sister daly & I dressed up as angels and decorated our trunk and handed out smarties! it was so fun! we also met a lot of cool people this week! it was cool because one time we street contacted someone who said he wasnt interested, but as we walked back to our car, he stopped us asking for our number so that he could talk to his wife about having us over! it was so cool! there are so many little miracles every day!  so yeah! things are going well and we are happy happy happy! the only bad thing was my gnarly toe infection hahaha... But! I have been feeling extra grateful this week to be a missionary!
