yall we are SO BLESSED! 


okay. let's get real for a minute.


the past few weeks have been insanely hard. I have just been like suuuper down. I think that satan is really working on the missionaries right now just because of how much good we can be doing right now.


BUT! this week I have finally started getting my fire back! 


we had a strong feeling on tuesday night that we should go to the temple. we brought a blanket and just sat on the grass outside the gate and we read our scriptures and prayed and prayed and prayed haha. I prayed that I could just feel loved and to be able to be motivated again and to know how we can best help the work move forward again here in our area.


my prayers were answered in a lot of ways this week...


we were able to have interviews with president and he gave me a lot of advice. he told me that I am way too hard on myself and he told me to just use my creativity and talents to find new ways to bless people! 


we also had a short mission-wide call this week and president told us the potential of what could be accomplished right now. he gave us a lot of advice and it seriously helped so much! 


I also had a couple friends that sent me an email or a scripture that was exactly what I needed at the perfect time. this seriously was such a big sign to me that I was being looked out for:) It is amazing to me how God uses the people around us to bless us and answer prayers. I hope and pray I can be that person for others:)


I'm still definitely not a perfect missionary, and things still aren't easy, but I am so grateful for the power of prayer and how it was manifest in my life this week. we are really so blessed and our saviors lookin out for us;)

Tucson, Moms, And Cheese Week

Hello friends! I've had an amazing week!! (besides the dead cockroach in my shoe this morning) The highlight was being able to go to Tucson for my graduation from training!  I got to see allllll my cute friends and have a really good meeting:) I also had a fun dinner with a member in sister curtis's first area. I'm officially not a greenie anymore! Hard to beleive I've been in the field for 12 weeks already!  We also got our transfer cheese! And I found out why it's called transfer cheese! The word for "gossip" in spanish is "chisme" which sounds a lot like cheese so I guess that's where they got it.... but anyways, me and sister curtis are staying!!! So happy to have another transfer with her... I also had a nice call with my cute fam bam yesterday!.. and I think the best part was knowing that I wouldn't have to wait till Christmas to talk to them again haha  Sister curtis and I are pretty lucky to have some good "moms" out her...

I Got To Pet Wolves Today!!

It's been kind of a long week! I got sick on Tuesday and I'm just getting better... but I am glad I didn't get the flu because there is a crazy outbreak here (we had to wear masks when we visited some people at a care facility)  We are the only zone of the mission with day light savings because every one else is in Arizona! So that's kinda weird when we are trying to communicate with other missionaries  This week we did some service and walked dogs at the humane society... and today we got to pet wolves at a wolf sanctuary! It was so cool! There were tons and tons of them and they were super sweet. But! I've been doing well, definitely been a little up and down this week... but I just loveeee reading the book of mormon so much and my testimony grows stronger each day. Its a dang good book :) Getting super excited for Audries baptism on Saturday! She is so awesome!  I also asked someone to get baptized this week! Angels

hello!  it's been another great week in catalina!! something fun that happened this week is that we had our ward halloween trunk or treat! sister daly & I dressed up as angels and decorated our trunk and handed out smarties! it was so fun! we also met a lot of cool people this week! it was cool because one time we street contacted someone who said he wasnt interested, but as we walked back to our car, he stopped us asking for our number so that he could talk to his wife about having us over! it was so cool! there are so many little miracles every day!  so yeah! things are going well and we are happy happy happy! the only bad thing was my gnarly toe infection hahaha... But! I have been feeling extra grateful this week to be a missionary!
