Honestly, hands down, best week of my mission and possibly life.  First off, I got my new companion and she is the GREATEST! We seriously get along so well and we have literally had a crazy miracle happen every single day that we have been together!!!! I will list a few:  - spent 45 minutes trying to find someone we felt like we should visit only to end up knocking  right  as she was walking up to her door! (so, she couldn't avoid us!!) Within a 5 minute conversation, she went from giving "please go away" vibes to asking if she could give us a hug! It was such a cool change to see so fast!  - we were able to set another baptism date with a member of a part-member family that have been working with the missionaries for YEARS! sooo exciting!! - I wanted to tract "El Burrito Avenue" all last transfer but was never able to. We decided to go on Thursday, we parked, prayed, looked at the street and chose one house to start with, asked if we could share a quick scriptu...

Hey guys! I got some transfer cheeeese!  I am taking over my area! My new comp is coming from silver city (my baby area) and I am soooo stoked!!!!!  We had a goooood week! We had a walking lesson with someone and we walked about 2 miles with her to go get her groceries, and while we were walking, I asked her if she had thought any more about baptism and she said yeah!! Her heart has been super softened and she's ready to take that step! Yeehaw!  But when we were almost home, I realized that I had dropped my new cartigan that I love so much as we had been walking. And I was super bummed bc we had crossed so many streets and dirt lots and there are soooo many homeless people so the odds weren't really in my favor.... BUT we went back and it was just chillin on the sidewalk and wasnt even dirty!! #blessed.  But anyways! I went to the temple today so my time is short! howdy!!!!  Its story time!  So I'm going to be real honest. This has been the hardest transfer of my whole mission! I really have been struggling these past 5 week! I mean, the area hasbeen a little rough and all, but more than anything I just kind of hit an exhaustion wall a little bit, ya know? I have kind of been in a rut, but this week I was able to see the Lords hand in SO many ways becuase of it.  The first way is that HOLY MOLY this come follow me program is absolutely incredible! And what a better life example to have than Nephi himself?? Just in the first 7 chapters this week, I have found countless examples of how to get through trials, how they can benefit me for the better, how to be more patient, how I can show more faith and be blessed for it, how I can be a better missionary and a better example for others, and literally just so many things that I have needed to hear. yeah so it's been like 4 days since my last pday Things are still doing good!  We did 5 hours of service on saturday! We help someone pull weeds and helped someone else move! Its was 70 degrees and felt amazing outside. I was so glad to be outdoors! I am really starting to understand the snowbird mentality.  We also did some voulenteer work on thursday at a place that makes food for kids that only get fed at school. We go there every week and it's the best!!! This week, a lady that works there told us that she has been inactive for a long time, but knew that us being there was a sign that she needed to come back! She was so sweet and it was so cool!  But, the absolute highlight of the week is that I WENT TO TACO BELL!! For the first time in over a year! There are definitely some perks of being out of the boonies hehe So yeah. hey hey hey! happy new year!!  today will be another wednesday pday, but next week will go back to normal:)  ANYWAYS! I had the absolute BEST new years eve! We had a big zone blitz and it was super successful! Lots of cool people were found! Then! Today is sister brownings birthday (mission presidents wife) so we had a celebration last night! We played family feud, ate pie (her fav), some people performed some songs, and we just got to see lots of mission friends! Her son also put together the cutest video!  AND! at the very end, they announced that ELDER UCHTDORF IS COMING!!!! We will have a full mission confrence this month! I am so so SO excited!!!!  Also, on our way to and from the party, we handed out book of mormons at each stop light! Hermana Assis would tell "we promise that if you read this book, 2020 will be the best year of your life!!"
