Merry Christmas!¡!

Image
merry christmas!!! I can honestly say I've never experienced a 63 degree christmas before, but honestly it's kind of nice! no windshield scraping!  But anyways! It has been an incredible week! It has been so fun and special being a missionary at this time! I cant even explain how much easier it has been to find people to teach! Everyones hearts are so open to learn more about christ. It's the best!  I want to share something that stood out to me while watching the christ child video this week. As a missionary, I've watched that video like 600 times and was honestly starting to get a little tired of it haha... but this last time i watched it, the part at the end really hit me. The wise men bow down to the young jesus and are overcome with gratitude. It made me think of how I would feel to see the savior. I am so extremely for the person that I have become because of Him  https://www.comeuntochrist.org/light-the-world/the-christ-child ^heres the address. If you haven'...

From Boonies To Ghetto

Image
bueno bueno bueno bueno bueno bueno bueno bueno bueno bueno bueno bueno bueno!! ^ that's how my new district leader answers every call lol Hello from the ghetto every one! I am absolutely loving my new area! It's definitely an adjustment from what I'm used to haha. I miss the boonies but it's kind of nice not having to drive a half hour between every where we go (like I've been doing my whole mission haha) And now that I'm out of the mountains, it's a ton warmer! Perfect timing But yeah! We are kind of in the outskirts of big city tucson and it's super ghetto here (besides a couple random really nice parts), but its awesome! The people here are humble and ready to learn! We are super busy even though we only share one ward with another set of elders.  It was super cool becuase we set a baptismal date on my first night here! She even gave us a ton of her cigarette casings to help her quit smoking! (so of course we took a pic with a couple hehe)... We also...

Cheese

Boy have we got some cheeeese! For those who are new or have forgotten... since the spanish word for "gossip" is "chisme", our whole mission refers to any news about transfers as "cheese".... So anyways. Our cheese is that we are BOTH LEAVING!!! our area will be whitewashed and we will both be going to west zone best zone!!!!!! We are pretty stoked! Especially since we will be able to see each other every week at service!!! Anyways, we have lots of other exciting news!  Shelly (the lady we found last week) is on bap date!!! We are so so stoked for her! She is SO prepared!!!! She is getting baptized on Jan 4th, and since sis daly and I will be close, we will be able to go to her baptism! I am sooo excited!  Also we went to Mammoth AZ this week. Its a reallllll sketch part of our area. I've only been there 3 times in my 4.5 months here haha. It was lots of fun! Also sister daly graduated training! I cant beleive shes been out for 3 months now! She's ...

Best Week!!

Holy guacamole we had the bestttt week! I have soooo much to talk about!! Okay okay! So first of all, we got to take our WHOLE district up to San Manuel to tract for a couple hours! San Manuel is a weird, run down, kinda sketch, kinda napoleon dynamite vibes, kinda apocalypse vibes, but fun part of our area and it's literally in the middle of nowhere! But we got permission to take our missions 15-seater transfer van on a a little roadtrip to do some finding! It was so so so fun! It was over an hour drive both ways so we had a lot of fun together! And we found a bunch of awesome people to start teaching!! Then! Thanksgiving was soooo fun! We did some service by going on a nice long hike and picked up trash! It was nice cuz we were able to talk to a lot of people! And we had a nice, gluten-free meal with our favorite fam here hehe!  Also it rained a ton, AND! A different weird part of our area, Oracle AZ, got 4 inches of snow on Friday! It mostly melted by time we got out there on Sa...
