so about the title. it was my comps six month mark last week and I wanted to do something nice for her to celebrate... so I woke up early and made her a cute little "happy 6 months" banner and I taped on all the little triangles and I finally finished and held it up..... and realized that I taped them ALL on in reverse order.  it was actually really funny though, so instead of fixing it, I left it, and now we have a super confusing banner on our wall!!  so! I have kind of a fun story to tell! so, as missionaries, we have a weird rule where every time our companion is backing the car, we have to stand behind it and let them know that the coast is clear. it's super weird and you kinda look like an idiot but #obediencebringsblessings ya know?  so anyways, a couple weeks ago, we had just finished some service at a community garden thing, and I was backing my comp and this lady was looking at me kinda funny, so I said "shes just a bad driver" and she started laughing...

heyyyyy it's been a busy pday! but, quick milagro time! so we were doing service this week and we were weeding someones yard with like 10 missionaries, and their neighbor was like "whatcha doin" and we were like "weeding their yard, just doin some service and stuff" and then we talked for a bit and explained what we do n stuff, and we asked if we could do anything for her and she started crying and asked if we could pray for her son and it was super tender and now we are teaching her!! wahooo!¡! but yeah! things have been super good!! I'm doing FANTASTIC things are really goin good. SURE LOVE YOU GUYS!  sister chadwick  ps- my mom sent my birthday gift a few weeks early, so today I got myself my very own ukulele!!! a member let us borrow one so I've been learning how to play for the past few weeks and I love it!! yall we are SO BLESSED!  okay. let's get real for a minute. the past few weeks have been insanely hard. I have just been like suuuper down. I think that satan is really working on the missionaries right now just because of how much good we can be doing right now. BUT! this week I have finally started getting my fire back!  we had a strong feeling on tuesday night that we should go to the temple. we brought a blanket and just sat on the grass outside the gate and we read our scriptures and prayed and prayed and prayed haha. I prayed that I could just feel loved and to be able to be motivated again and to know how we can best help the work move forward again here in our area. my prayers were answered in a lot of ways this week... we were able to have interviews with president and he gave me a lot of advice. he told me that I am way too hard on myself and he told me to just use my creativity and talents to find new ways to bless people!  we also had a short mission-wide call...

we seriously had so much fun this week! we have been able to do outdoor dinners so we had a few this week and it's been SO FUN!!! we even went up to the mountains this week for one of our dinners! felt like I was camping again:')  and we did lots of outdoor service, we went scorpion hunting, and went on a hike this morning!  SO basically the outdoors are what's keeping me sane haha... we are SUPER blessed to be able to go outside here:) ALSO its allllmost 100 degrees which is crazy but I literally love it so so so much! I have real az blood in me now:)  so yeah. it really has been a good week. but, I have been struggling a little more than normal. my motivation is kinda low right now and I'm just not feeling as happy as I normally am. BUT! I think it's interesting that in come follow me this week, it talked about how the only way to get through our trails is by relying on God! mosiah 9:17 says "and God did hear our cries and did answer our prayers; and we did g...
